The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 不似《婚姻故事》般热烈，不似《海边的曼彻斯特》般阴郁，不似《废柴舅舅》般搞怪，两个怪胎的相互陪伴，这是再平常不过的剧本。
7分，很温情的电影，你照顾别人的同时也是也是在疗愈自己。
整体情绪仍旧是平静温和
轻柔、细腻的触感中生出一丝余韵，但也就仅此而已了，深沉的黑白影调也掩盖不了内核的空洞乏味。
生动自然的表演，我们一路追问，一路寻求答案，或许很多问题永远都不到正确回答，但问题本身已经是活着的意义了。
喜欢导演关于父母子女的很多观点，导演也是个温柔的人啊。并get了其中一篇关于母亲的论文或书。采访孩子的段落应该都是真实的吧，孩子们的表达很纯真深刻。对比那个时候的自己简直是个SB，当然现在也是。

非常温柔的一部电影，娓娓道来，又像是叔侄的互相治愈之旅，很真诚很可爱，看得很舒服
非典型类型片，菲尼克斯像是一个爱告状的大男孩，总是告小男孩的状，哈哈哈
