The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 泪目了好多次，到最后消防员母亲得知噩耗的时候终于绷不住了，曲风虽然不是我喜欢的，但是从纽芬兰岛这个角度看911的取材非常特别且意义非凡
异常中的日常，是覆盖生活的全方位关怀，那些集体记忆中珍贵的情感和善意，会跨越时间给受困的人类带来力量。没想到全剧只有十二个演员，场景转换，人物多样，内容多元，让人感动，催人振奋，是可以排进前三的音乐剧了。
