A brilliant and outragously funny satire of society, 7 December 1999

"Flodder" is one of the funniest movies ever made and few people realise that it is a Dutch movie made by none other than the Holland version of John Carpenter, the famous Dick Maas, author and director of the thriller "Amsterdamned". The Flodder family is the reincarnation of the term a-social. When the whole family bunch, basically all bastards, criminals and sluts must be relocated from their City slum because of toxic waste under their house, the city council house no choice. The only available space is in the "Zoendal" - the "Sun Valley" the best area in Amsterdam where all doctors, snobs and businessmen can afford to live their lives. And where the central point of interest and politics is the tennis club of the community. The Flodder family brings devastation to the tranquil world that ruled before. They are simply unbelievable. The characterisation is incredibly funny, beginning with Ma Flodder who searches other people's trash cans for food or making illegal liquor in her cellar and ending with the eldest daughter who is the biggest slut on earth. Together they make the most horrible family imaginable, a sort of immoral mirror image to the Brady Bunch or the Waltons. When the City counsel of Amsterdam hoped that the Flodders would show their good will to be more civilised in their new area, it turns out that Holland's most famous family would rather bring out the worst in the rich people of "Sun Valley"-wonderland. The rest is a hilarious, brilliant and well made social satire that can be watched as a provocative movie as well as a straightforward comedy. Dick Maas at his best. I salute him! Flooder was the Dutch smash hit in 1986 and brought two sequels and a tv series. All of the sequels were nice but not as great as the original.

Why is First Floor Features, the producer of the movie not bringing the Dick Maas blockbusters out on DVD in the Netherlands, I wonder. The are not even available on video there. These movies have so much potential, still to this day and have a huge silent but true following.

剧情设定很套路，Finch和人类社会的分离一带而过，他又是否渴求与人交流呢？重点想表达的信任，只是靠离去升华是否多少有点被动？
机器人陪伴末日人类，并埋葬人类的故事，还有一条狗，可以拍的更好，也许芬奇该问问杰夫：“要是我（人类）不在了，你有什么打算？”杰夫：“……（我水平不够编不出）”，多一些类似这样的探讨会让影片更深刻
太温暖了，哭了，我是没想到一个末世片子能给我暖哭。那句“The three of us on the Golden Gate Bridge,like a painting that hasn’t been yet ”好美啊，这一刻的Jeff就像个吟游诗人，在末日里传唱着关于一个老头、一个AI和一条狗的故事
“你去看世界了吗？” “…总是有各种各样的阻碍，健康、工作、妈妈、世界末日，还有…我只是一直没找到机会。”
“这则新闻连续几周在电视，报纸和网络媒体上疯传，制造了热门话题，为了什么？这成为了这个13亿人口国家的唯一话题，这是刻意安排的，谁？为了什么，为了谁？三个问题，一个答案!”
6.一个国家的尊严就是它给予女性的尊严
科幻寓言小品。一个性格孤僻自绝于同类的人在动物与机器人身上创造关于羁绊、信任及同行的回忆。
这脑洞，这反转，这揭露，这美女，值得给五星
题材很讨喜，但问题在于似乎太过执着于情节上的设计导致整部电影并不是那么流畅。故事性上塞得太满，导演和编剧应该学会做减法。/问题真的不能忍，但多一星给法庭上的调度，and女老师发声那段真的太飒了
正义虽迟但到。不得不说，这电影挺牛的，既直白地揭露了某些社会不公的现象和讽刺了某些政客为了上位不择手段，又做到了多重反转。看到最后还挺解气的。
故事愈简单，况味愈深。尤其是在今年看到，代入感是当年观看瓦力时所不能想象的。也是这部片子让我第一次去思考机器人与人类的关系，Finch教Jeff技能的时候，用了机器人三定律的模版，但内容更近似一个父亲教儿子如何谋生。我发觉对于我们的星球而言，机器人永远不能脱离人类的范畴，所谓机器人，无非是人类超越肉体生物性最远的一次尝试。机器人的属性，中文名的字面便可完全解释。机器人就是人类，他使用的是人类的逻辑和情感，他也就会因这样的逻辑和情感或繁荣或毁灭。所以，片中的Jeff和杜威之所以显得比人类更有人性，也是因为对于他们而言，环境对于他们的机体没构成毁灭性的挑战。如果有一天，地球变成机器人也不能运行的样子，他们之间为了生存也一样会冷酷无情。我们人类的历史就停在那一天，也是很好的结局。
四分的故事，两分半的编剧，两分的导演。太多的蒙太奇段落、太多的升格镜头、太多的音乐，整部影片被导演处理得宛如巨型的trailer。故事充满翻转本是有意思的，而叙事策略却很低幼以及直白，每一次翻转几乎全是一股脑由人物说出来的。故事大可以聚焦在警察与律师之间，法庭上的对手，背后却是要一起揭发真相。影片最好看的也是1h18m开始的法庭戏，当律师一个个传唤证人，带出印度种族问题时，不仅由于这是一大场结结实实的戏，更重要的是振聋发聩在印度非常有价值的表达。影片另一个问题是表达过多：政治阴谋、种族歧视、女性权益、媒体不良、学术腐败等等，而最后貌似又都归结于一场政治阴谋，事实上还是种族问题在印度更具话题意义吧。teaser及尾声对律师人设的交代非常学生作业感，完全插不进叙事主体，只留于生硬的交代。
末日生存独角戏，狗狗很加分。但当科幻电影看其实算比较平庸那种。
一股脑未打磨的半成品点子塞得倒满当，
剧本很厉害，用一个案件包裹更大的案件，个体的丑恶撕开体制的丑恶。有金句有情绪点，但手法还是陈旧了些，最后二十分钟凌乱了些。但这样的“社会现实主义”电影也可以开发系列是我所始料未及的，印度电影掌握流量密码了。
不知道看什么，无聊，快速拖放看完，中间没有一处镜头或者什么有趣精彩的东西让我停下来看，（除了车子快被龙卷风吹走那段），可能这是文艺片，符合豆瓣文艺青年口味，所以分数才会高，我给不及格，很差。
过誉，隔靴搔痒。视听感像电影，情绪煽动性极强的新闻专题片。配乐和歌曲不错，歌曲部分常速欣赏，其它1.5倍速飘过。以现实中印度强暴案的体量和深层根源来看，都改编电影直到看吐也难有改变的一天。电影其实是以谋杀而非强暴致死来规避风险，在没有原型事件情况下编拍并通过印度电影审查，国情不同，无需代入。2022·6·28 8.6/2189 短评889条 %83/13/4 【IMDb8.4/8300 全球票房313.51万美元】
这么老套的电影，Tom Hanks是闲不住吗，这种电影他还没拍烦吗。豆瓣为什么这么多喜欢老式温情片的人，当然我被坑的最惨的一次还是三傻大闹好莱坞。
