The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 很久没看到如此三观的女主，很疯但也很带感，结局的话真震惊我全家。男主人设不行，看不大明白他对两位女主到底是什么感情，还是女主之间的cp感拉满了。

女高中生无所畏惧的热恋之心，强大的气场，甚至被他所中意的恋人所吸引，虽然有些古怪，但却描写出了真切的纯爱。
还好不是那种以刺激泪腺为目的的电影，死亡主题展现的还挺阳光的。影片很明显想刻画一个典型的中国母亲，但用力还是过猛了，用力更猛的是女儿，前半段与母亲的对抗实在是太刻意太夸张了，桥段也比较老套。最打动人的是张歆艺扮演的那个火锅店老板。
