Hotel manager Marcus Winter is awaiting an important visitor to the Emirates Palace Hotel.His long-time friend – the representative of a big tour operator – should be arriving soon to inspect the hotel.But instead of his friend, it’s a new inspector that comes – Sarah Riems, whose ideas concerning the needs of hotel guests greatly differ from those of Marcus.Trying to impress Sarah with the distinctive flair of his hotel, Marcus makes a grand presentation, emphasizing the spectacular regional cuisine and even taking the inspector on several trips into the breathtaking desert. 华丽流畅的调度，在颁奖季实属横向碾压，但是《罗密欧与朱丽叶》的故事，一旦拿掉古典背景之后，总觉得过于老套，爱情至上的观念在今时今日的市场中，显得水土不服。
这选角成功在哪里，男主僵硬的舞姿看着想吐槽。舞台剧改编的电影总要改动一下，我也能理解这个剧是想表现关于种族的主题，但男女主看一眼就永不分离是不是有点草率。
如坐针毡的 150 分钟，救命啊那么多值得拍的为什么要选这个，故事烂到离谱，让人想笑，男主像个傻子，用顶级 cinematic 去拍这玩意真想不通。
2021了居然还是有这么俗套的爱情片，有asian face但是和asian没有一毛钱关系，可以当下饭菜看一下，
爆米花爱情故事。周末吃完午饭看个温暖的小片子还是挺好的。

翻拍然后做旧算什么本事，有这个budget不如给LMM拍点跟得上时代的新作品
斯皮尔伯格的电影无论怎么样都能保证下限，但是很可惜，这次的下限就是它的上限。对于歌舞片的剧情无论是逻辑还是情感转折都能给予极大的宽容，但是这种“没心没肺没有温度”的“高尚”爱情只会让我感到恐惧，更别提那糟糕的种族肤色问题的处理，既然本片最佳的就是调度，何不把故事改编成斗舞而非斗架。60年前的故事不是不可以说，但你要照抄内容和讲述方式，那不仅是无聊更是灾难。
导演能力没问题，就是这个故事本身吧……还有，好莱坞，你到底有多少歪瓜裂枣要捧，赶紧的，一次都给我拿出来吧！

四星完全是给我们斯皮尔伯格碾压式的场面调度以及在众多歌舞片中难得的重“舞”轻“歌”的选择。服道化以及摄影镜头弥补了过于青涩的男女主，使得他们没有过于被彼此的嫂子与兄弟的戏份碾压。同时，我看着男主那张脸就很难想象他是因为打人坐牢的人，总觉得他身上一股子书呆子气。不过好歹给我补上了这堂经典的电影课，观赏了现代纽约街头版《罗密欧与朱丽叶》
亚裔成为男主，突破了之前的某种界限，冲着这个就值得推荐！
对剧作无感——非常传统的美国故事，一个社群种族冲突下的现代罗朱悲剧，相比之下Tony Kushner后期的创作就要比这恢弘壮阔得多
如果不是刚立项就知道是斯皮尔伯格的作品，我会以为是迪士尼新推出的少数族裔公主片。跟糟糕的男主比，女主的表现力都能算说得过去了。ps 我不该在跑步机上看这部电影，男主一开嗓，差点给我跑岔气。跑完后破天荒的小腿抽筋，可能是被气的。

生存在帮派和民族仇怨之间的爱情故事。歌舞表演都很精彩，就是场景转换的处理有些太过突兀，很多剧场中的表演形式和戏剧冲突放在电影中不加以改编就显得不那么合适了。
可能老斯失败了，也可能没有，他只是想完成自己所好吧。其实本片北美口碑还是挺好的，豆瓣只刚好及格，没办法，国内观众没有歌舞片的基础和情怀。服化道景都是没得挑的，但是故事拍摄手法确实太上世纪了，但也显然是老斯故意为之。且看且珍惜吧
虽然是无脑俗套的浪漫爱情戏，却极富现代感且有着很多超出预期的笑点和猝不及防的泪点。女主真美。被网恋中的欺骗深深戳中
