The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 狗子演得好。情节有点乱。吃霸王餐吃到开眼倒是挺搞笑的。

但是反差也还是存在的，比如在山林的那屋子里的老夫妻，看得出他们很相爱，也很善良。
狗+公路+自我救赎题材的片子居然能拍这么平淡……
包括装瞎子那段其实也很搞笑，虽然被抓进监狱那段有点不知所云，而且那个被扑倒的人很明显有问题吧，但是没有接着说下去。
后边渐入佳境，喜欢狗狗带领主人在城市历险寻找失物那段，可惜太短了没能再展开一点。
公路片一直挺吸引我的，一狗一人，在路上遇到新的人，发生新的故事，产生难忘的回忆。
蛮牛仔风格的人狗交往过程，跟日本的人狗交往电影不一样。
不可避免地需要跟原版对比了。画面和背景音都缺少了原版那种沉静、阴冷的质感。老吉的演技还是很好的，特别是在结尾处的爆发。最后情节上有一些小改动，其实完全没必要。还有就是结局实在太拖沓了，没有原版简洁有力。
一星半。就不能说很无聊吧，但太白开水了。钱老板真的无论颜值还是身材还是那么能打。就这一人一狗的公路温情小品能拍的如此的无聊丝毫不感人我也是服气。
温情的老兵照片，当然也有美国老兵战后应急综合症了。

窗户里挥手和地铁里那幕有点吓人，结局有点小意外，总体来讲还不错

吉伦哈尔近年来都是类似角色，神经质暴燥症，警察的背景又似乎暗指了之前的新闻。。然而，片子整体质量还是一部批量生产的流媒体作品
以为是部喜剧，turned out to be a催泪戏啊。养狗的人看了很感动。

美版的问题在于给得太多太满，情绪全是张扬着的，让人看着感觉很吵很刻意，这大概是所有好莱坞翻拍北欧作品的通病，少了那一份骨子里的冷峻，多了嘈杂的过度表达和自我感动。
