The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 故事刚开始感觉还可以，越看越乏味，与印象中的巴西电影有出入。

接受不了，情节太慢了，本来讲了一个非常简单的故事，哎！
网恋到奔现，你爱的是想象中的我，从不解到解惑，最终画上句号。这正是爱情中的踌躇，不过更意外的是表面讲情感，实际上更加反映了社会问题，非常以小见大。摄影也很棒，光影在半小时后持续加分。
