The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 我还以为是美国本地人拍的，拍出了失产者的困境昔日的第一大国的困境，但又不死心地想要为这种现状去开脱，为了追求精神境界啦不是因为没钱被困住了而是因为精神上被困住了啦……巴拉巴拉，但这或许也是现状的一种表现吧。

那些真实的人物在镜头下述说自己的经历，这时候的主角特别像一个聆听的记者，而那些路上遇到的对象像一个个受访者，怎么讲呢，这种处理也不是说好与坏，总觉得略刻意。see you down the road.
想起了《荒野生存》，没什么三段式，平铺直叙的节节生活，遇到人，被邀请，离开人，仿佛人的一生一样……总想到荒野生存中的那个小哥，如果他还活着，会不会也是无依之地的一员？
是我记忆里最在路上的电影了，像候鸟一样的离别与相逢。没有在时代而是归结在个人上找到一些本质的原因，也算是讨巧的地方吧。但如果没有办法深入谈一些时代群像的东西，可能对于这个这么好的题材来说，观众确实很难满意。
