The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 一开始说先去伦敦再去加州我就觉得顺序有问题。
我承认有时通过对时间线的剪辑会让电影精彩纷呈，但影片开始就剪到这么乱，乱到对人物关系建立缺乏根基，对事件理解存在迷障时，反而会觉得这些所谓技巧有碍观瞻。
亮点是叙述方式、节奏和男女主角间的张力。看到派恩我起先是拒绝的，但他在这部片子里很好，女主也很好——"What we had was real. Wasn't it?""I thought so.""Why did you run?""I think I preferred this being an interrogation.""Well, you've convinced me.""Of what?""(whispers) That you're very convincing."…"Are you okay?""(grunts) Be right back."
基本上就靠两人的回忆撑起了一本电影，情节缓慢，氛围很闷，需要极大的耐心。最后男主也算是为了旧情人而救赎，也许他老早知道自己的结局，也是身不由自己。电影有床戏，有露点。
除了女大男小的组合，这片确实也没什么让人意外的地方了。
穿插着无聊床戏和回忆旧情的假悬疑片，想剑走偏锋地去讲述谍战片，却连故事也没讲好。派克船长最近接不到好片了吗？最近一部《承包商》也是烂得如出一辙 @Prime Video

他被组织背叛反过来背叛组织只因为了拯救爱人；她不明白他为什么背叛；他不明白她为什么出走；查找内鬼的过程很像英国电影《锅匠，裁缝，士兵，间谍》；最后爱人死在怀里的情节又很像《麦克白》。全片克制、冷静，又是一部片名被翻译耽误而导致低分的作品。
5分。剧情还行，但白左横行的美国又习惯性强行安插了黑女主，还各种床戏裸戏让人看到吐。差评！可惜了派恩的演技。
宝刀未老这个译名啥意思，是说床上功夫么？这不是误导评分么。
很虐心的一场谍照爱情片，故事叙述的节奏很好，画面很有质感，不拖沓。
