The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 电影颇为漫长，布景、服化道这些都十分得古典，甚至用了4:3这样的经典画幅，但拍摄手法上却十分得现代，感觉是要有意去呈现出那个时代下特有的时代风格，并将导演个人的批判全部融入到男主的多见多闻中，再结合当今的时代，多少觉得导演是有在隐喻当今的世界吧。

很久没有半路弃一部电影了 实在受不了 所有的乱七八糟。
是汤姆希林主演的巴比伦柏林剧场版特别集，还是《啊，男孩》的纳粹前夜版？都不是，但似乎又都是。
