The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 反素食主义恐怖喜剧，很久没看过可以算得上清新的恐怖片了。

很多cult片的侧重点全在暴力血腥上，故事完全没了逻辑可言，十部有九部我看完只会觉得被耍了，然而还不好发作，因为是cult片，cult仿佛成了一切合理不合理的挡箭牌。但这片子的血腥情节是就着故事发展很自然而然出现的，至少对观众的脑子态度放尊重了不少，我难得的能像看剧情片一样看一部血腥电影，并且还能随着对白发出爆笑，我还要什么自行车啊！

其实比较一般的片子，明明题材很劲爆，但拍出来却平平淡淡，既不恐怖，也不惊悚，也不知道是哪里出了问题，可能是导演想用喜剧的壳来装恐怖的魂，结果弄了个四不像，男主的样子太菜，没有一狠到底或是满满变狠，和黄秋生的表演不是一个级别的。
影院看的，奥地利腔太浓，没听懂... 几个做为隐喻重复出现的意象也没弄懂（钟表，电灯泡，酒，等等）。不过两条线交错拍摄的手法，音乐和镜头共同对心理和幻觉的表现，都是很不错的。

老黑第二次该怎么杀人才有说服力呢？他看起来又怂又胆小，不是那种真正敢杀人的角色，emm……
比较而言，还是更喜欢茨威格原著的叙事结构。

7.1分。酣畅淋漓一气呵成的黑色幽默电影，许多笑点和很多镜头很是经典。法国版《人肉叉烧包》。
恐怖片里一股清流…顺畅的剧情，不错的喜剧效果，多角度的讽刺足以组成良好的观影体验。其他都算点缀
