The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 传记没什么出彩的地方，有点阿甘的意思，可是真实事件改编又不能说是阿甘，香港挺强大的，弹幕一个个到是够酸的，弟弟生来就是为了照顾哥哥，这个弟弟感觉命运更悲惨。

少年和成年演员长得好像，而且演的很好，神态肢体都怀疑是不是真的。故事很俗套，但是还是很感人。
温情表现十足，题材挖掘不够
中国的电影工作者，擅长模式化偏定势的创作，在人文与浪漫的尺度上，难有拓展。同样是反映残障人士的电影，美国的《阿甘正传》相比《妈妈的神奇小子》，在艺术性上有明显优势，中国的电影往往基于现实做的很好，高于现实方面有巨大短板。
陳可辛導演的《奪冠》上映之後，中國女排未能如願奪冠；
他的故事很励志，很热血，但电影还是拍得很一般。

演员演技真的佩服，真的以为是请残障人士来演的。不过感觉叫“神奇小子的妈妈”比较合适。
某時某刻閃現出舊時港片的一點味道，但電影除了實實在在的赤誠之外，竟然意外的也相當實誠，完全沒有美化任何一個人。
“你残疾是天生的没有人会怪你，大家都会怪我。”母亲是更伟大的。

为了煽情使用的大量慢镜头和过多的bgm看多了真的疲劳，影片整体太碎片，国语配音真的减分
吴君如演的真好。体育电影中的上乘之作，有几个点很感动。现实中的苏桦伟好看。
