The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 情感戏太拖后腿了，更不能忍受的是用打飞机作为筹码和间谍利益交换，也太瞧不起那些人的家国情怀了。总体上，就是觉得没讲好这个历史故事。
很特别很萌的杀手，像两个宅宅的邻家小妹。黑道妹也是一个神叨叨叨的人。总而言之，一群特别神叨叨的人做一些神叨叨的事！
就像是战争背景下的剧本会，每一个主角在为一具尸体编造的故事中注入自己的情感，很多台词都非常精彩，虽然不是一部典型的谍战片，但是角色的互动和情节的发展都非常吸引人，没有用大起大落的情节却把故事讲得流畅好看，修改信件的情节简直要笑死我了。
比较平静的叙事，既不像战争片也不像谍战片，反而像奇怪的爱情片
感情戏真的是无聊且不必要 不如多给两个男主一点chemistry来的好嘛 毕竟一部电影聚齐了两位Mr.Darcy what are the odds!

真实故事改编却叠加了过多感情戏，对敌对方描写太少，以希特勒化之，所谓德国间谍剧情实际等于没有，缺乏真实感。
