剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it?     桌面电影的一次外延，算是桌面电影昙花一现后必然出现的尝试。片中出现了疫情，但不必然；还出现了智能音箱，也不必然；还出现了#MeToo，同样不必然。但种种元素堆合后成功质变，勾勒出极具有当下感的“科技让我们更遥远”的世相，我喜欢这一点，以及女主角geek风的大房子。运动镜头尤其是追逐镜头很带感，使用了潜伏类恐怖片的视角，还有效仿VLOG的倾向，最终呈现出特工片气质。反杀设计得不好，毕竟女主角不是真的特工，严肃变儿戏了，结尾还是该向桌面电影取取经。
