The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 我无法开心地看待这个片子：女人的独白/忧虑/恐惧全部都是真实的，但除了这些，所有都是不真实的：没有这样的男人，过度浪漫化的sex work。对我来讲这是一部色彩缤纷的电影，像糖果一样，但是你不能给受困于饥饿的人吃糖，你懂吗？they never tell the Bside: whether they pretend its not there or they just dont care. They are denying the Bside.
设定很新颖，立意很进步，但是故事极其俗套，除了两人很养眼其他真没啥看的。想到也是有点禁忌两人相遇互相救赎的电影，超脱就要深刻一百倍

你还是需要攒一笔钱，去完成一次越级的消费，才能突破边界。
以性意识觉醒来开启女性觉醒之路，如此切入视角的作品早就不计其数，并不新奇，也不震憾。但本片刻意设定一名高端、文明、知性、疗愈的男_性工作者来引领女主的觉醒之路，颇令人纳闷。第一，为什么男_性工作者的形象可以如此尊严、智慧、圣洁、高大？我好像没有看过类似的女_性工作者角色。第二，把男主的性工作纯粹美化为服务（老年）女性，谁信？这是有多自我感动、多么矫情？
但对于我来说，合法化毒品或者卖淫，这两个话题无论怎么聊都是一种粉饰太平。
理解关于女性寻找自我寻找性解放的部分，但是纯粹的买卖关系越界了就不再美妙了。

一把年纪是不是差点白活了
一個人想要追尋真我永遠都不嫌晚。劇本設計大膽且有巧思，通過「優良的男性氣質」的代表 Leo ，以「經典男性氣質」自信地「教」Nancy 要丟掉世俗的規矩和自我束縛，並不斷地暗示他可以讓 Nancy 體驗高潮。但最後，Nancy 藉由女性自決的意識帶動了身體意識的覺醒，打破了「傳統女性氣質」的鐐銬，獲得了高潮體驗，煥發出全新的自我。Leo 的引導和陪伴很重要，但能掙脫自我束縛，走出社會教條規訓牢籠的，只有你自己。
