The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 3星半，故事老套，但是体育精神值的一看。对于NBA的球迷而言，这就是宝藏电影吧！
剧情推进中规中矩，但体育类励志片基本都能拍出彩，因为通过剪辑，可以轻松展现从菜鸟到大神的进化。片中亚当奉献了精神的演出，从一名过气球星的郁闷，到发现了新星，再到炒掉傻吊老板，最后峰回路转在新星身上实现了自己梦想的延续，把这一过程演得入木三分。
不是球迷，这么多人客串出场我就只人的奥尼尔。所以从电影角度来说就是老一套，想要孤注一掷努力训练为了最后一次机会奋力拼搏但又失败了，互相吐露心迹，最后一刻又得到机会成功翻身，所以没啥太多的新意。倒是Adam演的50几的球探还不错。训练那里剪的挺好的，让人也想要全力奋斗拼搏，去享受生活。足球狗觉得要是足球训练我会觉得更燃

我以为我对篮球无感，我以为我励志电影已经看得够多了，但是我看完这部电影后依然激动
这是看过所有NBA球星参演的电影里，大家演得最自然的一部了
作為一部勵誌體育電影，從劇情上來說還是個老套的勵誌、伯樂、互相救贖的故事，但一個套路做好了也能有不錯的效果。雖然劇情基本上沒有創新，但能感受到真實的對籃球這項運動的愛，當感情真摯的時候，其它的瑕疵就顯得不是那麽重要了。

电影的可看性和节奏蛮不错的，但也没什么新鲜感，中规中矩，故事很套路。但比较让人感慨的是，这种程度的体育类型片，国内也几乎见不到。
