The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 很平淡的一部恐怖片，鹿角怪的设计本身挺不错的，但是结局也太潦草吧，这个怪战斗力不太行啊女主一个人就能把它手撕了……要说亮点的话，小男孩的表现确实可圈可点
浪费时间，节奏极慢，完全可以拍成五分钟短片还能多两星，怪物基本看不清，画面可以更黑点还省电

太爱Karen Gillan身上的那种不死不活和懵逼的冷幽默了，好希望她多演喜剧。虽然是一个讲述剧组拍戏的故事，但是人物塑造和情感展现上依然是Judd Apatow的味道，不管什么人的生活都是一地鸡毛，顺便讽刺一下疫情下的影视行业和虚伪的资本，闹腾且欢乐，节奏有点慢，不过越往后笑料越足，是那种可以哈哈大笑的点。Kate McKinnon和James McAvoy的客串太有意思了！
铺垫过长好像是文艺系恐怖片通病，加上若有若无的惊点直到快结束才到高潮，其实很难感觉到惊悚气氛。
留下印象的只有Oregon美丽的雪山和森林（PS：受够了这些怪物强的时候恨不得干翻一栋房子，弱的时候被女主一根棍子就插了个毫无还手之力的流动战力了）
故事中规中矩3分
emmm…导演应该感谢他的摄影师，起码把氛围渲染出来了，制作成本一定很低。
刻板印象里的“文艺片”。兄弟俩小演员要是一个人演或许能提个最佳男主，但俩人都挺不错。
PNW的天气，灯光，音乐，把气氛烘托得完美。剧情肯定经不起推敲，看着玩儿

很久没有看过这么无聊的恐怖片了，当时看预告非常期待，以为是克苏鲁复兴之作，没想到呵呵

所以这片是想说有的父亲变成怪兽也还是好父亲，有的父亲人模人样干得全是禽兽不如的事情 吗…
