The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 慢慢地情调，却挡不住现实里的悲哀。爱与被爱面临的却是一个家庭的撑起，女人自强自主自助，却永远在混沌中不知方向，犹如夜色里的不归客，茫然，却向往着远方。最后的落点当然不是那杂乱无章的爱情，最后的落点只有可能去支撑女主，坚持下来的那份亲情。
