The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 拍得挺生动的，特别是人物做得很有趣。但同样是处理素材繁杂的历史事件，《芝加哥7君子》只是热热闹闹得讲完了一个事儿，并没有拎出一个有力的主题和人物关系，相比之下美剧《切尔诺贝利》还真是技高一筹。
难得不枯燥的历史剧，有趣的角色、小团体和法庭戏都是看点

艾伦索金和这种故事题材简直天作之合，NB！年度最佳改编剧本，最佳群戏，剪辑也很好。

7.5/10 把白左打在每一幀裡的片。節奏太舒服了，但是索金還是太踏實，少一絲靈韻，稍微照本宣科了一點；畢竟這個演員班底是可以飄一飄玩票大的。

事件发生在1968年美国大选前夕，后来尼克松战胜约翰逊当选了总统；影片上映于今年9月份，同样是大选之际。艾伦·索金再次对时事精准把脉，投射奥斯卡喜好的左派立场，把反战、左派、自由派、嬉皮文化、民权运动、政治倾轧一股脑融汇于这部酣畅的庭审剧，用他精湛的编剧、凌厉的剪辑和一众演技派的热血群戏。很写实很民主太灯塔。

群戏比较出彩 对话痨厌烦者和对美国60上世纪60年代末的民权运动不了解的观众不是很友好 总之对于当下美国的现实 算是很应景的一部电影了
