The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 我真没想到会被这么古（老）典（旧）的叙事感染到，一些地方值得细品。
全靠小说撑着。前半部分不错，能看出一个社会风貌。后半部分越拍越垮，似乎没有处理关系的能力了。保皇党和自由派，传媒和政治，人情和欲望一股脑堆。。。旁白是合格水平。服化道不错。
我觉着吧，这部片子要和《法兰西》一起看 200年前的法国，和现在的法国，同样充满着谎言的媒体，除了钱他们什么都不需要

Un film emportant, empalent, éblouissant de la mise en scène tout en ayant une voix musicale, remarquable. L’adaptation est à la fois moderne et historique. Une densité narrative est également incroyable. Bref, un film ambitieux, luxueux, poignant.
竟然是billy the kid 的后传电影。《神弃之地》是接过了《赴汤蹈火》新西部片的棒，那这部就是老西部片复兴啦！
又一个类似于连的小镇青年来到巴黎闯荡，找情妇，找工作，忙到最后又如何。。从前不可能的，如今一一成为可能：银行家从政了，平民也可以发达了。。。天真+虚荣，害人又害己……
在世俗，金钱，谎言，所谓的名声中迷失自己……困在自以为自己很厉害的牢笼中，最终被现实打败，想象幻灭。
我能看懂这个故事
无论是遥远的复辟王朝还是当下的新世纪
幻光破灭谓之幻灭。
首鼠两端的人终究不得好死———只是可怜了男主的第二个女友，算是故事里唯一一个好人
很扎实，而且很好看（重点）。能从旁白中窥出原著的魅力，勾引你去读巴尔扎克的那种魅力。
但还是值得一看
声色犬马，物欲横流。空中楼阁，一朝倾塌。巴尔扎克的原著讽刺辛辣，针砭时弊。如今改编成影视，却中规中矩，鲜有亮点。个别或犀利或有趣的台词也不过是仰仗了原著的功劳。所以亦只能说是无功无过而已。不过值得一提的是，多兰的角色发挥空间不大，但是作为一个配角却屡屡出场都能抢走些许主角的风采，确实表现得不错，抓住了人物的精髓，在有限的表演空间里做到最好，难怪能收获凯撒奖的提名。不过本片在一众电影节大热中拿下凯撒奖最佳影片，多少可以见得凯撒奖还是有些保守的。
三星半。原著有两个人物，两个故事，电影只拍了吕西安这个。
巴黎的新闻业√美则美矣，太过于冗长，沉浸感不够！
包袱抖的不错。 主演真的会用枪，不是那种“训练过的”。
