The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 爆炸场面一如既往地导演风格，剧情后期兜不住底来一场大场面枪战然后草草收尾。

典型的卖拷贝作品，追车枪战爆炸都有了，可是与他本人当年的The Rock比起来，观感还是大打折扣。毕竟现时不同往日，同类型的电影已经让人审美疲劳，而此片除了大量使用无人机和手持拍摄，其他并无多大的进步。

颜值逆天，剧情简单，场景灯光风景一流，迪士尼式的happy ending，晋江玛丽苏文翻拍，消遣可看。对比after系列，这部在拍摄氛围上更胜一筹，西班牙青春片真的开放，比如《名校风暴》系列。
