The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 谢苗的又一部，据说第二部已经杀青了，简单的故事情节，不动脑子的时候拿来解闷也挺好的。
谢苗的动作戏还是不错的，虽然剧本差的不是一点半点，打斗戏加分了。

按内影现在的商业片水平，这部上院线完全够打了
整片剧情流畅、动作伶俐，节奏有序，很不错的一部网大电影。谢苗的表演风格，感觉有一点故意凸现《给爸爸的信》中风格。王维申的肖三毛看着还有点味道，衣云鹤就是太脸谱化了！
抛开剧情这些不说，打戏真的有小时候看李连杰武打片的感觉，拳拳到肉干净利落。
打戏真的很精彩，非常意外，但是剧情比较弱，犯罪分子出场到犯罪到伏法过于简单，没什么起伏，肖三毛这个角色可以塑造得更好，谢苗的警察既接地气又利落帅气
