The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 本片过于追求影像风格化而角色刻画和叙事一团糟，前一个半小时看得我昏昏入睡，直到90分钟后生母揭示真相，剧情才算渐入佳境，我才打起精神来。在前一个半小时的剧情中，就是照搬莎士比亚“哈姆雷特”的故事，如果没有90分钟后的反转来挽救影片，本片的豆瓣评分连6.6都到不了，看完全片才明白实质要讲述的是一个家族相残的复仇故事。
打斗场面堪比宗族械斗，这部可以和花木兰并称卧龙凤雏。
这个复仇的故事太接地气了，解读性就少了，反而不利于Robert Eggers的发挥，毕竟因为文化隔离的存在，哈姆雷特的故事在你国土壤是真的不受待见。发疯的Nichole算是唯一亮点吧。

对哈姆莱特的铁血改编，原始、野蛮、兽性十足，安雅艳压妮可，青春无敌。
3.5，即便失去了前两部足够多的结构空间，依然能在一部主流大制作的传统故事中注入作者性和足够多的亮点，总体来说是惊喜的。

好好的史诗霸权，拍着拍着变神话了，突然间多了个洞，突然间多了把剑，蛮奇怪的。另外电影的力量感太缺了，演员们的动作都很别扭，下次还是请个动作指导比较好。
