剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     在剪辑和情节设计上未免太复古了，完美复刻b级恐怖片（单纯说剥削似乎也不是）和学生惊悚片作业中劣质与呆笨的特色，美学上来说拍得还不如《刺心》。对老年性欲及野心的纳入当然很亮眼，但考虑到被这部电影底色决定的猎奇化表现方式，你就很难说它真的亮眼，真能找到价值的路径只有被宗教与文化元素包裹起来的phycho——所以说真的非常复古。

    A24太想在主题和视觉上作出与Midsommar齐平的恐怖片了，X其实在很大程度上继承了那种无意识的残忍与快乐至死的心理设计。很多快闪式的intercutting很有意思，对于老年，欲望，压抑的阐释也很有洞见。70-80年代的影像卡带的视觉效果和对新浪潮以及The Shining, Psycho之类经典的致敬也可圈可点。
