The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 捉刀办事，拿命换钱。这也许就是早期的赏金猎人！眼虽瞎，心光明。情节特别简单！画面特别震撼！光影运用到位！佳片
作为一部网络电影，麻雀虽小五脏俱全。既有中国传统武侠的大义和侠气，又有一些日式剑戟片的凌厉和狠气。结尾一场戏的光影竟有种超脱尘世之感，挺惊艳。谢苗演的盲人，动作设计上很用心，一招一式是人物塑造的外化，配合人物转变，动作也跟着转变。可见主创的细心打磨。
武打爽片，动作行云流水，一点都不拖沓，剧情上稍显简单。最新换这种主角是一直都很强的模式，而不像其他电影的一些俗套，主角又强变弱再变强。
剧情很简单，按道理是四星。
比预期好很多很多，七十分钟的篇幅，竟无一场软戏，细节撑得很足，人设做足了功夫；其余该用“干脆”来形容合适，打得干脆、血腥干脆，对道义的诠释也干脆；那种酣畅感，系血红雪白，相映成辉。
故事俗套，动作戏不错，捉刀任侠。名字取得太拉了，你叫捉刀人都比这个强。
节奏打斗场景构图光影都很不错。就是可惜了琵琶女
简约的武侠风，也算是独树一帜。这个世界上最贵的就是公道。

网大巅峰，有个bug不能忍：9000两黄金很不合理，改为白银比较妥。
整体来说故事挺简单的，主要就是看打戏，动作设计和镜头切换挺流畅的
