The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 7.3 倒是看出了一些黑暗中的舞者式的设计，但初执导筒的林聚聚显然是不具备冯提尔那样的影像嗅觉，剪辑很多时刻是反而是破功的，摄影机的运动也因此被破坏；它依靠的更多是对于乔纳森拉森，以至于音乐剧本身的真情流露，伪纪录片与内心的剧场穿插共奏，从而谱写出不平凡的人生乐章，《梅艳芳》至少也应该这么拍吧。

相较电影似乎更应该被称作数字化音乐剧，然而毕竟是不同的艺术方式，在音乐剧中时髦的东西说实话早已经是影视中的普及技巧；安德鲁演得好棒。
