The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 翻开圣经就打破了巴别塔，募捐时推掉却打开钱包偷偷写支票，总有足够的细节让我从头到尾掉眼泪，这样的作品就是我总是想念这个世界的理由。
题材很吸引人，从音乐剧的角度来说既没有抓我耳朵的歌，剧情也缺乏节奏。虽然演员都很卖力，但是有限的人数加上很小的舞台感觉局限性还是很大。
這是一部很棒的音樂劇，旋律優美，歌詞細膩多層次，結合當年發生的事件，讓人感動。
看过的第一部电影形式的歌舞剧，911并没在我年少的记忆力留下只字片语，简单被归类为“其他国家”“恐怖袭击”，却从未想过其他连锁事件还有如此影响力。一方舞台，十几演员，多想让世界就此停止旋转。人之所以称为人，人性虽不分国籍，但只有在灾难前才能彰显。
911事件导致的连锁反应，人与人在危难之中的互助充分反映了人性光芒，政治立场就不太好评价了，毕竟是美国主旋律舞台剧。

太美式温情了。作为音乐剧，里面的歌曲太少，除了Me and the Sky，没有拿得出手的...
啊我还是想看现场。。。明年能重新在国内巡演吗
220508，在这个疫情严峻的当下，在隔离的房间里，这部电影给了我太多的喜悦、感动与希冀。第一次看这样的百老汇音乐剧录像，真的是绝好的现代艺术啊，一方小小的舞台，简单的布景与道具，却生动地表现了这样一个饱满的故事，厉害厉害。
真的全程爆哭，我的眼泪不值钱。故事结束到如今又是十年过去了，希望在下一个十年结束的时候我能给这个世界贡献再多一些的善意。
感觉一般般吧，只有welcome to the rock比较好听。没有hamilton的前半部分好看。三星半
最感人的永远是陌生人的善意，最动人的永远是旅途中的意外。
