The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 2001.9.11五角大楼事件后，美国暂时关闭了领空，数百架正在飞往美国领土的飞机被迫降落在世界各个角落的机场，而在加拿大一个无人问津的小岛突然间变成了38架飞机、7000位来自世界各地飞往美国的旅客的避难所。它接纳了母亲、孩子、同性恋者、不同宗教、不同国籍、猫猫狗狗、甚至还有大猩猩。小镇倾其所有，帮助人们度过了风云莫测的五天。

群像戏演得很好，很多主题，很正向，也很多泪点。人类的悲歌总会伴随着赞歌。
19年买了票，20年全部演出取消，21年终于看到，大家都是来自远方，也欢迎远方。

我们可以看到人类最大的善意闪光的同时也能不逃避自私与阴暗面，但是总是向善的。不回避创伤与痛苦的作品才是真正伟大的！这是一部没有任何理解壁垒的片子!太棒了
