以轻喜剧的方式讲述代孕这个灰色地带的故事，较为完整，探讨也较深，结尾升华了主题。

代孕这个话题太大了，在动机上贯穿了医学父母和代孕妈妈从决定之初到胎儿落地的各种选择，全程伴随着伦理和情感问题。因此也就不难理解电影里面许多想当然的处理了，情节铺展得过于顺利，最后的结局也十分理想化，与严肃的现实比较想必还存在着不小的距离。
