The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 对这种片子来说，人物对话好看已经绰绰有余。总之永远是受迫害的一方。

完成度相对较高的一部结合同志和犯罪的片，很难不得不让人相信在那样的大背景下的同志生存环境是多么的恶劣。
人不能恐惧一切，尤其是为了自由。骗了所有人，但是至少没有欺骗自己。
在感情上，罗伯特出轨了就是渣男，但是这也不是重点了，重点是同性恋在那样的时代被迫害着。男主的演技给电影加分不少。
刺破黑幕，后面是幽深的渊薮。贯穿两个板块很勉强，可惜。

男主的造型，尤其是发型与小胡子有点像老塔。
整体很闷很平，调查戏不刺激……同性爱也没什么亮点，甚至未婚妻部分也是草草带过，让人憋屈。除了罗伯特长在审美点上之外，台词设计都让人提不起兴趣。整部片还有点装深沉，实际上内容根本无特点。
一部西部片拍出了中國武俠小說的味道，隱世，贖罪，絕世高手，以一敵百。影片氛圍營造很有代入感，配樂配合西部的荒草和淒涼，讓情節推進。最後的反轉蠻有驚喜。
充满了反思
巨大的阴郁和悲剧的背景下，单个人很难跳脱，也总会有挣扎留下的水花。一部电影的容量讲述这个故事，完成度已经很好了。
高官头头是同性恋就要灭口一起玩的人，深柜即崆峒，男主小民兵最后是同情还是真的爱了呢，对象小男生挺帅的，那个年代说不清道不明，没有人性。
