The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 一个导演只能拍属于自己那个时代的内容，这个是跳脱不了的。
精彩的后疫情时代电影，人工智能，女权意识和心理惊悚各种议题都糅合在里面了，小巧精炼，给了各种线索。本该帮助被侵犯女性的组织成员助纣为虐，反隔离抗议者帮助女主不被杀手拖拽上车，讽刺极了。女主离开家再逃离回家的镜头真的让人眩晕心悸。最后片尾曲用了elastica的connection，好开心

应该用多名演员来扮演主角的，不该只用一个演员。这么强的情节已经足以唤起观众共情了。没必要非得怼着一张脸拍。这么搞还很乱。导演应该更自信点。
没想到是个纯粹的happy ending，人物有些单薄，后半段赶火车。
