世界末日，繁华大都市被黄沙淹没的景象令人触目惊心。一个老人、一只狗、一个逐渐比人还更具备人性的机器人，在这样令人绝望的环境中，如何建立起信任、默契。老人还是死了，他一手打造出来，延续了率真人性的机器人继续使命，陪伴照顾着狗。心里不免难过，当狗也死了以后，机器人该怎么办？
