The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 不过，导演应该借鉴了很多日本剑戟片的拍摄和叙事风格，所以有些地方会感觉怪怪的。但已经很值得鼓励了，现在顶着武侠的烂片烂剧真的太多了，这样脚踏实地的网大已经算是小小的清流了。
一大亮点就是氛围感十足、代入感很强。故事基于很简单的朴素的公道心，主要看配乐与氛围，诗意与武侠，过瘾。
作为类型电影只是及格线上而已。电影是一个整体，好动作、好摄影并不意味着好武侠，又一个例证。毕竟《泰坦尼克号》是经典不是因为游轮豪华，《壮志凌云》优秀也不是因为战机酷炫。

侠味十足，难得的网大精品。大浪淘沙始见金，在成批量的网大工业流水垃圾中，能够发现一部及格线上，甚至是亮点十足的精品，实属惊喜加倍。

干净利落的侠客电影，目前网络电影里动作审美角度高峰。
1用短短74分钟，来讲述一名剑客行侠仗义的心路，作为网大电影可圈可点。镜头调度可见导演懂行的，电影感塑造不错，可惜故事太弱了。
再简单而普通的剧本和制作，也难掩那久违了的侠义。其实，江湖本就纯粹，一念起百剑生，恩仇快意，舍生取义，讨个公道罢了。
少有的江湖味与庙堂，鼓励。另外，谢苗，你再酷再能打，我始终浮现的是你小时候的样子…

剧情上有点牵强，动作场面利落，相信充足预算会更好
很有一点愁苦版座头市的感觉；各方面处理得就像动画，考虑到男主演的几乎都是这类型，也许再剪短一点多凑几集就是他个人的《爱 死亡 江湖》hhhhhhhhhh

放在网大里，倒也是可圈可点的作品，毕竟这种程度的剧本，能稍微有些气质出来已经是不错了。
