The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 感觉片子整体基调怪怪的。
影片没有紧张刺激的动作戏，着重表现两位主角的观念冲突，一明一暗，李善均略逊于薛景求。

若政治真到了可以“为达目的不择手段”的地步，那么这些政客总有一天会以国家的名义牺牲人民的利益～胸膛里的良心远比围栏里的鸡蛋更重要～
对付偷自己家鸡蛋的邻居，先送鸡蛋予对方，对方如果有良知，就会停止偷窃；如果还不停止，就在自己家鸡的脚上绑上红绳，然后把其中一只偷偷放到对方家，带人“人赃并获”。政治需要妥协，也需要知道底线在哪。
可以不择手段的获得胜利，但不要忘记为什么想赢。
背后的手段确实厉害。不管是平头百姓还是达官显贵，与人斗，其乐无穷。没点脑子，被卖了都不知道。依靠的是国民那句，太直白了，看透了社会，真的感到太悲哀了，所有人。
通过改编金大中与影子军师严昌禄的事迹，来阐述目的与手段的关系这一点很取巧。剧情对政治的处理多有理想化。
在韩国政治惊悚里完全不起眼。最大问题就是太无趣，药剂师角色很突兀，妆化也跟不上，历史感全靠调色。
道胜还是术胜，每个角逐者看法不同。而所谓的正义，恰似片中反派所说，谁胜利了就代表了正义。影子虽然为了内心理想，使用了各种阴损毒辣，但他内心应该是极度鄙视自己，而羡慕金云范的。
画面感很强，故事性缺少一些冲突，明明很刺激 给人的感觉倒不是很强烈
