剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it?     过三星。你能从中找到很多同类电影的影子，但不是无脑拼贴，反而糅合得挺不错的，有股浓烈的复古味儿。在反派人物的形象塑造上并不扁平，毕竟人人都有对时间流逝的恐惧感。除了老夫妻猎杀桥段的不足信外，其他还行。另：用枪托砸手那一段看着挺刺激的，让我想起了科恩兄弟的《血迷宫》。交叉剪辑和分屏玩得挺好。

    A24太想在主题和视觉上作出与Midsommar齐平的恐怖片了，X其实在很大程度上继承了那种无意识的残忍与快乐至死的心理设计。很多快闪式的intercutting很有意思，对于老年，欲望，压抑的阐释也很有洞见。70-80年代的影像卡带的视觉效果和对新浪潮以及The Shining, Psycho之类经典的致敬也可圈可点。
