Whenever I see La Paura I think of it as a companion piece to Eyes Wide Shut, or maybe it is the other way around. Adultery makes both films tick but in different ways. I think Phillip French was right on the money when he pointed out a Wizard of Oz thing in Kubrick's last work. Like Dorothy, Tom and Nicole go through fantasies and nightmares and at the end Dorothy's reassuring childish motto "there's no place like home" is ironically updated to the adult circumstantial adage "there's no sex like marital sex". Kubrick's take is intellectual, he never leaves the world of ideas to touch the ground. He taunts the audience first with an erotic movie and then with a thriller and refuses to deliver either of them. He was married to his third wife for 40 years, until he died. Rossellini was still married to Ingrid Bergman when he directed La Paura; they had been adulterous lovers and their infidelity widely criticized La Paura is a tale, a noirish one. The noir intrigue is solved and the tale has a happy ending. The city is noir; the country is tale, the territory where childhood is possible. The transition is operated in the most regular way: by car, a long-held shot taken from the front of the car as it rides into the road, as if we were entering a different dimension. Irene (Bergman) starts the movie: we just see a dark city landscape but her voice-over narration tells us of her angst and informs us that the story is a flashback, hers. Bergman's been cheating on her husband. At first guilt is just psychological torture but soon expands into economic blackmail and then grows into something else. From beginning to end the movie focuses on what Bergman feels, every other character is there to make her feel something. Only when the director gives away the plot before the main character can find out does he want us to feel something Bergman still can't. When she finds out, we have already experienced the warped mechanics of the situation and we may focus once again on the emotional impact it has on Bergman's Irene. In La Paura treasons are not imagined but real, nightmares are deliberate and the couple's venom suppurates in bitter ways. Needless to say, Ingrid has another of her rough rides in the movies but Rossellini doesn't dare put her away as he did in Europa 51, nor does he abandon her to the inscrutable impassivity of nature (Stromboli). His gift is less transcendent and fragile than the conclusion of Viaggio in Italia. He just gives his wife as much of a fairy tale ending as a real woman can have, a human landscape where she can finally feel at home. Back to the country, a half lit interior scene where shadows suggest the comfort of sleep. After all, it's the "fairy godmother" who speaks the last words in the movie.
特效甚至不及艾尔登法环，镜头也就是冰岛观光正常水平，男主时刻像个中二病少年，星给冰岛比约克和音乐，需要看几部伯格曼来治愈我这几小时
挺无语的，故弄玄虚，不知道自己在看剧情片还是恐怖片
这部电影像极了《埃及艳后》，各个零件都精美绝伦但组装到一起大概就是个华丽的废物，因为华丽多加了一颗星，跟玩《刺客信条英灵殿》的感觉如出一辙。
维京金属mv 很贵但比较普通的那种 俄狄浦斯哈姆雷特宗教神话什么都有且只有一点点 但我还是看得津津有味 只能说当下需要看个这样的东西 不过可能为斯卡斯加德我也可以看两小时mv/风光片/whatever
全程，Unbelievable（目瞪口呆），全程！灵巧自在的场面调度、刚中带柔的武侠动作、竹林深处的世外桃源、点到为止的情感路线、嘻哈转变的幽默风格、以及日本的忍者、东方的巨龙、西游记里的金箍棒、山海经里的九尾狐，实在是太丰富了！
脸谱化的人物，冗长无聊的台词，沉闷没有转折的剧情，复仇故事就真的只能拍成哈姆雷特那样的吗？
竟然和同款的游戏相得益彰~没有单薄乏味很赞~
51/100。对命运的探讨很浅，人物形象刻画也很单一。影片节奏也不是很好，动作戏并不出彩，宗教戏份占比太大。看之前期待值挺高的，所以挺失望的。
不黄也不爆，男主的帅气被遮挡了，妮可就喜欢演这种变态角色。
间歇性莎士比亚式的台词配上北欧的壮美景色、古老神话色彩、以及电影营造的恢宏气氛颇有一种史诗电影的气质 总之 在这个时代 这样的电影真是太难得了
其实就是又用北欧+神话，把哈姆雷特的故事放回北欧再讲了一遍吧？我没想到，拯救好莱坞电影，不仅靠少数族裔，而且还能靠B级片啊！非常强烈的B级片观感！男主角的行为都好邪恶啊！当然邪恶不过他妈妈呢，他妈妈根本没当他是自己的亲儿子，莫名磕到了妈妈和叔叔还有弟弟这一家三口了！叔叔最后好有魅力，最后才知道男主爸爸是伊桑霍克演的？这个角色安排就打动不了妮可基德曼，确实让人有点不知所措呢，伊桑霍克在我这儿没有理由用强呢？！哈姆雷特老了之后，就演了哈姆雷特的爸爸，演员啊！都得给大器晚成的看起来的年轻演员让路呢！妮可基德曼演完海王妈，又演哈姆雷特妈，简直国王妈妈专业户呢！看出来力捧安雅了，这个角色是逃出生天的奥菲利亚吧？三场nude，除了第一场，其他都是露了也没露的典范！居然还有比约克的客串，演女巫太合适了！

比科恩的好太多了，将古装片惊悚恐怖化，摄影和配乐以及一些设计都是我非常喜欢的类型。
完成度太好了！！打戏满分！！梁朝伟大概是漫威电影里面最饱满的反派了（如果他算反派的话），眼神太帅了简直又想做他老婆又想做他女儿！！！
远低于预期，几乎没什么惊悚指数。妮可基德曼已经要走上这种不讨喜的母亲辈儿戏路了吗？
好吧，风格是很独特，但是神神叨叨的，哈姆雷特改编成了这个样子，真有点接受不能！
看完第一个小时差点离场，看到一个半小时又觉得还能忍忍，看到最后竟有点沉浸其中了，可能这就是王子复仇记这个模版的魔力吧，视听出色，从头到尾被原始野蛮血腥的气息包围，看得有点生理不适。Anyway父权下的暴力美学已经无力欣赏了，另，肌肉男也让人生理恶心。
我太喜欢了，非常之满意！来美国之后看的第一场影院电影，在amc，能有这样一部完全以中国人为主，说普通话的超级英雄漫威电影在美国电影院上映给美国人看，真的是非常神奇的体验，我也特别自豪。电影本身看着也很爽，无需纠结剧情，服化道，中国元素满分。爽！
“从故事而言，这是带着《麦克白》预言与宿命感的《王子复仇记》”但故事的饱满程度不足，像是注水肉，当然打得很激烈……据说Amleth的故事是Hamlet的原型。除了神话色彩和传奇色彩之外，这部影片旨在展示蛮荒时代的血腥，当然也有拯救者，或曰奴隶制度废除者出现——简直就是“被解救的姜戈”。视觉风格很黑暗，同时也很奇幻和漫画式。我还是更喜欢有真实感的叙事。
3.5制作精良，就是剧情以现在眼光看来像非常冗长的游戏，到了等级才能解锁的武器，强行的剧情杀和末日火山般史诗单挑boss战。可能是服务仪式感的一种妥协吧。哈姆雷特的改造倒是非常不错。
