The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 顶到脑门儿的压迫感，句句申辩刻入灵魂。最令人惋惜的是电影的结尾，当观众不如角色般坦然面对获刑时，一反整部电影冷峻压抑的风格来了场热血狂欢，过于突然。对小雀斑的表演不是很满意，但这可能是由于戏骨聚众的关系。

当权力要作恶的时候，包括法律程序都要变成其帮凶。人们并非不知道权力的丑陋，只是因为软弱他们选择了岁月静好。体制并非无法被撼动，只是需要躺下成为滚木的受难者。
艾伦索金用了一个扎实的剧本来借古讽今，借此片指着懂王鼻子开骂。可惜对于各方立场的标签化处理让整个事件缺乏真实感。过于依靠台词推动也暴露了这位大编剧拙略的导演能力。6.5/10

是个精彩的好故事，仅此而已。压迫式的直白观点输出真的爱不起来。
台词密集，然而很多都没说到点上，片子还算不错，7.8。
内容上面正邪对立得黑白分明，正方下了很大功夫做多态，但总得来说还是故事剧情大于人物——不过群像戏也确实已经塞得满满当当了，没办法苛责太多。
信息量极大。现在看来，过去的辉煌岁月真的太牛逼了，无法复刻。

如果说在这个背离真实的年代，有何可称之为良心的话，我想那只能是过去的发生过的良心——也即这部电影里重述的故事。

條理分明、不疾不徐的節奏，難得的一部不以聳動快閃的言詞及畫面來爭取認同的庭審辯證電影。
剧本的设置也极为精彩。
