The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 不过两个人的游乐场还挺浪漫
黑白的摄影和灯光都很迷人，甚至比故事更让人聚焦。麦克多蒙德太抢戏了，似乎在整个戏之外。
今年的最佳构图，高对比黑白配上舞台剧式的布景着实惊艳，有几处外景像在致敬《第七封印》。丹泽尔和科恩嫂几近癫狂的演技也有很大的震撼力。唯一不足就是剧本，全片古英语对白虽是忠于原著但用现代口吻来表达不容易理解

念白很舞台化，背景很表现主义，光线是最棒的。华盛顿和麦克多蒙德的表演就中规中矩吧。整体文本的内核和构思没有太大新意。如果能移植到舞台，复刻光线和背景，我觉得感受会更好。

戳爺張揚自我的個性從來都是一以貫之的，這在他的作品中隨處可見。但是演電影不像出唱片，動動嘴耍個酷。電影中，故事情節和演技缺一不可！
