The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 女主的造型加上大提琴绝了，不是美不美的问题，而是不会重复。
片尾，根据真实事件改编，历史上促成释放曼德拉的三位勇士照片出现的时候忽然热泪盈眶，为了自由，可以付出一切。
电影讨论了一个严肃的政治命题，而且还是根据真实事件改编的，但我觉得这电影不行。明明是激烈的种族冲突，却要拍成一群圣人之间互相克制的交锋？何必呢…
青春片里加点金属，算了，难得有编剧和导演搞这类题材，剧情紧凑有起伏，瑕不掩瑜，三星半推荐

半夜看这电影太提劲了，想到相似题材的《摇滚校园》，这部的故事和立意稍弱一些，但音乐部分嗨爆。
自由的代价是什么好评。有些桥段zzzq的令人恶心。成王败寇，高层早已成筛子，底层那些忠于职守者却成为历史的代价，历史的走向成了一种绝妙的反讽
