The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 演员们的演技令我叹为观止。
表现主义风格，戏剧化台词，再次对人的欲望与宿命发出诘问。但几何感强烈的极简空间（布景），浓密的雾气、黑白的反差（光线），角度的选择（调度），都只是视觉的迷恋，缺少意义的配合。
极简服化道，剩下的就全是细节和特写，相当托华盛顿和科恩嫂的表演。他们完成地非常出色。连女巫都演得出彩。相较之下，演麦克迪夫的黑人演员很逊。

话剧的台词大批的放在电影里还是很难受，很出戏。A24撑起了开场女巫的戏，但似乎也就如此了，毕竟黑白方屏幕这种形式，有过灯塔一次也就不稀奇了
偏向舞台剧，对白也是，光影也是，看完不眠之夜沉浸舞台剧之后再来看这个
相比15版麦克白逊色不少，戏剧般的形式感和黑白并没有加分，最重要的内心情感戏也是一带而过，不知道在拍些什么……
观感和舞台表演无差。但演员演技表现两极分化太明显啦～

非常享受的电影，舞台仪式感好强，音效特棒，黑白摄影牛逼。演员演的过瘾，我们看的也非常爽，太短了，意犹未尽。希望科恩兄弟联手再把莎士比亚电影继续拍下去。
略失望吧，预告骗了属于是……影像上有一些惊艳时刻，声音设计也有点意思，但总体比较乏善可陈，观看过程一度感到无聊，究其原因可能是它在文本和形式上都无甚新意，风格化就只是为了风格化而存在，遑论像《灯塔》那样做到二者的自洽和互相支持。像有的评论说的，在《蜘蛛巢城》之后，再做这种改编可能已无必要了。B
有些低于预期，更像是配上绝美画面的剧本围读。
科恩的影像实验，做足形式的影视化舞台剧，但剥离古典主义的现代化风格，其价值又能有几何?看不出有什么新鲜的表达。

这部与1948年出品的《王子复仇记》同是莎翁的戏剧作品演绎而成的电影，麦克白的悲剧有着更多的宿命论在其中，与哈姆雷特的忧郁、自卑相反，麦克白更为狂妄、自大。
摄影美术服化道和表演都是顶级的水准，为颁奖礼而生的那类电影。肯定不难看，但没啥感觉。
像是一场无人问津的话剧被拍成了黑白电影，绚烂的词藻，夸张又惨白。
