The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 我最喜欢晒太阳的那一段，太美了。整个电影的色调和音乐都很棒，但是剧情有事吗？
应该给打五星的，不是说没有批评的地方和不足之处，而是这样一部电影实实在在应该给予支持与鼓励。

三星半。前半段厚重感足，发现男二性别后，人物twist太生硬，自我觉醒的戏太干，男主整个角色垮台。总结：起似大师，落于俗套。

男主的身材真是unbelievably sexually attractive, 眼神忠诚又可爱，我看傻了？电影好像在讨论一种流动性向的可能，和《迷恋荷尔蒙》中大兵爱上跨性别女不同，这里男二心理认同还是男生，anyway，I’m all for this idea. 但电影本身在许多情节冗长，还有一些缺乏说服力
这就叫无病呻吟。凑了一个个老套的不能再老的桥段去讲一些烂大街的陈词滥调。用电影里的一句台词来形容这部电影就是“装什么装，烂片就是烂片。”
冲突设置上如恐跨恐同的直男啊，保守的天主教啊啥的太老套了，风格上看得出是想走粗粝的现实主义风，然鹅后面两人莫名和好在一起就很尬，风格崩了……
细腻，深刻，融入很多身份思考和对社会现状的反映
无聊、一团糟的生活铺垫越是真实，后面的自我探寻就越发珍贵。

在长达半小时的家庭伦理大战之后，终于抛弃了琐碎，丢下了生活终于寻找了自我。爱不分性别，人亦是。没有隔阂的灵魂之州，照片追寻你的足迹，夜路路灯下的宿醉，缠绵悱恻的吻，终究是爱意打败了抗拒。结尾的处理好棒，终要跟爱情告别，与生活上路，车开，字幕起，音乐响起，私人的渴望早就成了两个不分彼此的爱。
