The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 非常喜欢！整个电影就发生在一间房间里，Emma Thompson和Daryl McCormack太绝了，两个人演得太好，细微的感情在两个人的对话中蔓延，so charming and so vulnerable！两人第四次见面的时候，我狠狠地哭了一把。结局实在好治愈，最后Leo走在夕阳下的街头，微笑着抬起头，而Nancy在镜子前看着自己并不完美的身体，释然地笑了。
“叫鸡应该被纳入社会公共福利”哈哈哈，小哥确实是三观超正,言语中给人的慰藉不逊于心理医生,(而《诊疗椅上的谎言》中则有心理医生通过性行为安慰病人,乱套了不是)。
单一地点+老戏骨的组合很难不让人想到《困在时间里的父亲》，后者在影片技法上还是要更有层次一些，而这部电影的强势就在于每个段落高潮前的那一点铺垫，都恰到好处。

剧本很精彩，越是简单场景越难拍，整个过循序渐进很流畅，两个人之间的互动也很好看。
事实证明再简单的剧情和场景还是可以不断挖掘出小惊喜的，两个人的内心世界通过台词不断得以展现，电影在单调的场景内也尽量控制住了节奏，让整个人物和剧情显得愈加有趣立体以及丰满。
