The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 这部电影来说，镜头摄影都让我感到美极，故事和节奏却较为晦涩。看过电影后拜读了一些解析和背景故事才懂了大意。
年度期待之一，结果压根不是恐怖片。跟鬼魅浮生类似，坚持用木讷冰冷的手段来叙述人物情感，可前作有好音乐和时空道具，这部则完全脱力。
不看解说真的看不懂。A24的电影视觉上真的真的很有保障，但也就这样了。
卖相到位，看个视听都值，没给A24丢脸。表达感觉还可以大胆一点，跟制作显出的野心相比，似乎还是保守了。

看到结尾的闪回，才解释了前面那一大段无聊的剧情。结尾确实精彩，其他部分也确实无聊，但是摄影和美术很不错
歌曲不错，画面不错，剧情缓慢到无聊，开场挺期待，越看越无聊，不知道表达什么
有些割裂，在于男主的表演的神态、表情、动作带来了强烈的戏剧性和目的性，所以其内心的幻想、意象成了可由此直接解读出的裸露外壳，由此最终消解了部分影像、文本和视觉世界带来的模棱两可的神秘多义性。
向原著提出一个问题：如果预先知晓考验是考验，这考验是否还算数？
美术极佳，剧情对我来说过于枯燥冗长，分了几天才看完
观感近似于《银湖之底》，拆开来都巧妙得不行的设计，放一起就是显得无聊。
3星半，寻找荣誉与勇气的路程，展现的是一个男人的成长史，A24特立独行的影像风格与空灵缥缈的配乐有点小史诗的味道。

镜头语言真赞，基本可以入编画面阅读理解教材，色彩很妙，运镜略有不及，故事性不提也罢，对非教徒观众不甚友好。大胆预测，奥斯卡也许有两三个提名。
A24的商业化失败之作，视效华丽，质感很好，可还是艺术片的讲故事手法，甚至套在这样一个神话诗歌为底的作品上，商业片最重要的还是直白刺激，上手就是史诗叙事缺了好多介绍，建议直接看影评补背景再看 - -
