The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 好久没看到这么欢乐的同志电影了…第一次觉得《Sometimes》这么好听，Brithey真gay icon！
好无聊好模式化，戴眼镜那个长的也太像偷着乐了，导致看的时候更没心情了。
非常Pride and Prejudice甚至到雷同的地步，结尾很难不联想到糟糕的white savior complex以及romcom都有的俗套桥段。但还是想给五星。They r queer, they r here, get used to it.
这部电影侧重于犯罪题材和动作戏份，而不是探讨人性和自由，商业目的更为突出。

虽然主演是俩asian，但是这片子在提升gay asian的visibility和打破偏见上，我只想说not helping
很喜欢Luck的骚鸡人设，will很好看。其实如果Charlie错过了Howie会更好一些。用古典异性恋框架的爱情故事来翻拍gay版会显得有些weird，虽然提到很多次heteronormativity，但似乎…也许这可能是导演想要表达的，即便在火烧岛，也没能解决掉它。
