The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 电影的怪物很有趣，但是影片内涵不足，似乎讨论了儿童虐待问题，但是点到为止，没有展开，而且怪物的出现也与虐待没有什么本质联系。
刻板印象里的“文艺片”。兄弟俩小演员要是一个人演或许能提个最佳男主，但俩人都挺不错。

铺垫过长好像是文艺系恐怖片通病，加上若有若无的惊点直到快结束才到高潮，其实很难感觉到惊悚气氛。
主角光环，智商下线，怪物实力缩水，恐怖片几大常见槽点都在这片子里提现的明明白白。

小孩演技好，怪物設計很酷，男人都弱雞，女人有父權陰影所以可以開掛。
前期铺垫很长，怪物出现的方式模范异形，偷袭加吓唬观众，到了大决战就是站桩式处决。。。怪物就是个弱鸡
故事太过于简单，想表现的创伤后遗症和人的贪婪这两个主题有点脱节...
Emmmmm……就很催眠。这怪兽尼玛菜的抠脚，我感觉我都能打死他。
期待第二部！！！
很传统的魔兽题材，大概是没抱什么期待，所以看下来也没有特别不喜欢。至少没有太多尴尬。女主与男孩父亲的对决，感觉更像是为了战胜自己的心魔，对于一个异化的父亲，孩子要如何打破亲情期待的束缚，接受残酷的现实，这其实是很多人都会面对的童年问题。很多人的父亲没有变成妖怪，但他们却以缺席和冷漠吞噬了人们的童年。
抖音一定也赞助了不少钱。

不模版化就已经超越今年99%的影视作品了。女老师风韵犹存，年轻的时候肯定是个靓妹。结尾表意女性的自立精神，又设定抱杀儿童，难道是暗指堕胎吗？反正挺奇怪的。但还是期待一首续集。
为了恐怖而恐怖，剧情分了几个点，但怎么也连不起来。
