The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 索金目前的两部导演作品都是看完Act 3冲动多打一星。这里的剧本是加分项，但是如果给芬奇这类导演拍，原封照着剧本拍也是4星，if that make any sense...可能最合适还是拍成mini-series。以及雀斑选角好灾难...
一出主题模糊的庭辩题材电影硬是拍成了一出闹剧。玩归玩闹归闹，这么多年下来，反倒只有喧闹的legal high展示出了庭辩策略。
在此时这部电影的社会意义大于电影本身。拍的中规中矩，反派塑造的太不立体，尤其是大法官傻的莫名其妙。复杂度密度很高～Abbie和Tom两个不同文化派系的矛盾和融合拍的喜欢。
借古讽今得恰到好处。庭审戏中闪回真实事件场景的剪辑非常有力度。索金的剧本还是那么凌厉。Sacha演得太棒了！只有囧瑟夫毫无存在性完全是个工具人。
看到一半没看懂从头一气呵成看完。西方自由主义的精神就在于此吧…

电影推出的时机很准确，有些台词明显是针对大选的。

4.5 给剧本跪了，给演员跪了。🇨🇳这辈子下辈子再下辈子都不会有这种电影，哦当然，也并不需要。
好久没有一场表演能同时带来两种眼泪了。
索金教科书级的表现，虽然开头信息量太满，调度技巧也略显单调，但是公审闪回带出民运过程的叙事手段是索金拿手好戏了。愤怒的民运如何走向暴力，公权力如何使用权力打压异议迫使对方使用暴力，也在2个小时里用一种通俗好懂的形式讲清楚了。在一个全球局势风起云涌的时代，这部电影来得太及时，用一个60年代的故事证明了历史是周期性行进的。
3.5 工整 呆板 没惊喜也不失望 我喜欢那本书的名字《偷走这本书》
