The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 对于导演来说牛逼，对于普通观众没必要，没必要在如此忙碌的月底节前工作日特意赶到电影院忍着腰痛和困意欣赏我们到不了的大自然，同时要48小时内时刻关转票平台转的被孩子和工作牵绊住的小伙伴的票。

“Mi tesoro”，希望也能找到把彼此当做宝藏的人。西班牙选址也太棒了，刻板形象中一直是个即使悲伤也都热烈鲜艳但不失克制的独特国度，无数次心动:建筑(每期都很绝的建筑素描 世界建筑某期巴萨罗那城市微更新)、美食和电影(痛苦与荣耀)，现在加上西条和蠢太的浪漫故事，真的是除却史诗废墟的意大利最有好感的国家，而且更有活力。“为了今后能永远一起生活下去，我们不能永远待在一起，但是我绝对会回到你的身边，而你，也要回到我的身边”，清风白云并肩顶峰的山盟海誓真的感动哭了，天真永不消散浪漫至死不渝。今天是本人的520了，看了好多甜番♥️🍁♥️🍁
作为剧场版续作算是中规中矩的水平。只为一个人跳的弗朗明戈，“我的宝物”，这两个人好会哦。
就先在各自的天地守候彼此吧
叙述设计颇有意思的 老人放牧与探险队洞穴考察 两条线索以最基础的平行剪辑交替 从看似无关到中段山洞交汇 之后随着进入洞穴的深度老人生病越来越重交替剪辑间隙越来越短直至到达洞穴尽头老人也最终咽气。但由于把探险引入自然影像也带了一个前作没有的问题：拍探险时镜头能先于人物吗？这个问题可以说是致命的 每每先于行动进入洞穴更深处的摄影机消灭了探险的所有意义 而这与作者试图让摄影机作为客观之眼的企图完全冲突 这一悖论恰恰指出了客观摄影机这个构想的虚妄。不过 在教堂休整睡在受难jesu身边的镜头堪比四次里面突然进村捉jesu的罗马士兵 有如神降。还有就是那些大远景真的很棒！踢球和牛闻画也是神来之笔
虽然感情线剧情不太连贯 而且有点尬 但是整体上又涩又甜
尺度未免也太小了吧，好歹是剧场版啊，我连两个男人的下半身都没怎么看到，只有一丁点肉渣可以吃，失望。

結尾歌詞『與你一起活下去的這個世界
落地大喊“我要成为西班牙人”（西北欸紧 喔勒哇拿鲁！）确实是想到了一些海贼船长 导致本作全篇最重要元素之一“佛朗明哥（Flamenco）舞”我一直记成多佛朗明哥🥰
喜欢这对CP！甜就完事了，其他我不care！就这么任性！
没有以前那么甜了 但是画风提升。毕竟电影 很难在短时间表现出来
