The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 奇妙的人生，电影也想尽力做到有趣，可还是让人失望了。可能如果这是中国故事，会更好get到各种时代变迁的样子。

推动猫作为宠物的重要的人物，一个才华横溢的人，一段短暂的浪漫美好时光，让他用一生来追忆。油画搬的画面定格原来是向他的画作致敬，片尾有展示他画的猫，生动拟人，这是一个多么有趣的人啊。
