The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 整部片子的氛围都好压抑啊，但是压抑下又暗情涌动，但又看不到希望地绝望…看完莫名的难受

笼罩在铁幕下的压抑与迫害，然而对自由的追求与对真爱的觉醒，让主人公勇敢地冲破了这一切，诚实地面对与做回自己。男一男二之间火花四射，CP感爆棚。开放式的结局保留了悬念，虽然灰暗的政治背景令人不容乐观，但爱与勇敢又不至于叫人全然绝望。 “做人不能什么都怕，尤其是害怕自由。”
古典西部片，没有黑人也没有女性，就连主角的结局也是那么的古典。
对人性的扼杀，就像80年代的波兰一样毫无生气，灰暗，寒冷。
关于感情
绝望的气氛贯穿始终，一切情爱看上去都如此虚假……目前个人的年度最佳LGBT。
政治迫害的题材很容易牵动情绪，但也很容易拍不好。这部片子就是处处都想说，但又处处都没有到位的感觉……
简单，有效，计划实际，实施彻底，老炮儿就应该这样。
哪来的那么多同性恋，异性恋，双性恋啊，归根结底还是爱而已。
垃圾导演编排是非制造对立激化矛盾和不信任，这种垃圾导演才是同和异性恋最大的敌人。

开始以为是个爱情片，后来以为是侦探片，原来却是……
风信子的花语看似是“蓝色忧郁”其实是“伤感悔恨”，其实是“纯洁挚爱”，其实是“燃生命之火，求真实人生”，就像这部电影……
很不错的类型剧本，除了男主像个瘟神一样，走到哪都有人被杀。
