The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 超出预期，比剧版更是好太多。剧情曲折、渐入佳境，人物有弧线，情感能打动观众，打斗血腥但十分精彩，唯一的不足就是配乐太淡了，燃不起来。
最重要的是完整复现了游戏中从一而终的气质，Witcher的世界没有好也没有坏，只有无常的命运和无法逃避的遗憾。
有一点美国化，嘻哈式战斗，这点很出戏，故事讲的还不错，维瑟米尔的光辉岁月之猎魔人的起源，是对原故事的一个很好的补充，但是用美式讲法还是略显别扭，跟原著不同的是韦瑟米尔的视角有点过于矛盾，故事把他塑造成了一个多愁善感的青年，这与原著不符，我觉得韦瑟米尔在背叛老大的时候更多的是冷酷

可能看的大部分是游戏粉，我确实觉得故事老套，非常一般。
